How we handle
your data.

We are a Tallinn-based engineering studio. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit zaproo.com, write to us, or work with us on a project, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Zaproo OÜ (reg. 11502584, VAT EE101225726) operates this site from Järve 2, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach the data team at privacy@zaproo.com.

Data we collect

We collect the minimum we need to do good work. There are three categories:

  • Brief submissions. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email, optional company, topic, and the brief itself.
  • Direct correspondence. If you email us or call us, that correspondence is kept for as long as the project, and the warranty period that follows it: runs.
  • Site analytics. Aggregated, anonymised page views. No personal profile is built. We do not run third-party advertising scripts.

How we use it

To reply to your message, to scope a project, to issue an invoice, and to operate the systems we have agreed to operate. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not use it to train AI models outside the explicit scope of an engagement.

Cookies & analytics

This site sets one cookie for locale preference. Analytics, when enabled, are first-party only and anonymised at collection. No third-party trackers, no advertising cookies, no cross-site profiling.

Subprocessors

To run this site and our internal tools we use the following processors:

  • Hetzner Online GmbH: hosting, within the EU (Germany / Finland).
  • Google Workspace (EU): email and calendar.
  • Anthropic / OpenAI / Google Gemini: AI agents, only when an engagement explicitly opts in.

Your rights under GDPR

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, restrict its processing, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).

Retention

Brief submissions are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Project correspondence is kept for the project term plus the warranty period: typically 7 years for the accounting trail. Anonymised analytics are kept indefinitely; they cannot be linked back to you.
